Armand again... What's wrong with me?
This time Andriej. And a quote which I find particularly interesting, since it refers either to his skills, his nature and to a kind of icon called Acheiropoietos (which means 'not from human hand', if I am not much mistaken)...

I am still absolutely fascinated with the vastly different styles of art you are capable of; you are truly a master of your craft, I find it very impressive when a person develops their own individual style, but when an artist is able to develop SEVERAL of those styles?  THAT is something special.

Beautiful work, as ever.

as I just said, it's more that I'm still looking for an actual style. And this piece is incredibly old and I'm embarassed by it xD ^^"

Yes, Acheiropoietos means exactly that. :)
Beautiful picture once again! Andriej's face seems so innocent here!

A character from Anne Rice novel Vampir Armand. A main chracter in fact, but his 'pervious self'. And this name might look a bit different in english book, meybe Andrei? I wrote it how I remember from polish edition.

Ah, okay, understood)
In fact i haven't read that part in english nor russian so why i was asking it)

And, ugh, sorry - "pervious" or "previous"? That typo makes two different sences ;P

I'd like to know if you used oil based colours or acryl based colours or pastels etc. :)

omg that's a hard question since I'm using very simple tools form Paint Tool SAI. I'm using a brush called 'water' (so I quess you could say I'm using watercolours..?) and I just pick up any colour I need from a chart. I have no idea how to explain it... Did I answer your question at all?

That's all done digitally?? Wow...now I'm even more stunned. My guess would have been pastels and water colours. :floating:

yeah, almost all my works are done digitally, because I'm too lazy to find a real canvas and get up from a sofa xD
but it's somehow funny you thought it was traditional, since I was painting Andrei who is using the most ancient technique of painting :D
